Rosie & Xanthe

first met in 2020. Rosie was ​playing in the incredible ​blues/folk duo, Henry James, and ​Xanthe was looking for musicians ​for Brisbane Immersive's ​production, The Midsummer ​Carnival at Brisbane Powerhouse. ​After seeing Henry James' world ​class talent on the mean streets of ​Queen Street Mall, a musical ​collaboration and friendship ​began.

Busking, theatre, events, ​weddings, cruise ships, ​speakeasies and saloons

This duo has led and performed in Cluedo! The Interactive ​Game at Baedeker, Commune at the Tivoli, Christmas ​Cabaret at Night Quarter, Speakeasy at The Princess ​Theatre, Saloon at the Woolly Mammoth & Mr Badger's, ​aboard Cunard Cruise Lines Queen Elizabeth & the Queen ​Mary 2, at beautiful local weddings, at cocktail bars, jazz ​nights and hoedowns. The Vespers are also working toward ​releasing original music with a mid-century flair.

With so much performance ​experience, The Vespers are ​ready for new musical adventures, ​collaborations, opportunities and ​partnerships.
